Defending Cyberspace Co-Hosts

The Park City Center for Public Policy was founded in 2002 to expedite the development of promising policy models and find new solutions for the major challenges facing the nation from globalization and technological change. The Park City Center draws on the wisdom, political savvy and practical problem-solving skills of public and private leaders, businesses, former governors, experts and other thoughtful individuals to guide its work in cyber security, workforce development and climate change.

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) advocates on behalf of its members to enhance the competitiveness of manufacturers by shaping a legislative and regulatory environment conducive to U.S. economic growth and to increase understanding among policymakers, the media and the general public about the vital role of manufacturing in America’s economic and national security for today and in the future.

Johns Hopkins University, through its Center for the Study of American Government in Washington, D.C., offers in its Government Program a MA in Government with a Concentration in Securities Studies.  The focus of the degree is on the role of government to protect citizens from threats, both foreign and domestic, with courses on international relations, homeland security, and intelligence that teach the fundamentals of administering and preserving American security.  Students are recent graduates and professionals who work full-time in the DC area in a variety of public and private sector organizations and attend classes in the evening.  Graduates of the Program typically assume leadership positions in the executive branch, Congress, consulting and lobbying firms, "think tanks," and advocacy organizations.  Hopkins also offers federal executive training and a Certificate in National Security.
